Richard Rydstrom, Esq. - Board Chairman Rydstrom & Associates, Newport Beach, CA Attorney Rydstrom is a nationally and internationally published business tax author (MSNBC, California Society of Accountants, Money Magazine, Wealthy Company, Landlords Club, Yahoo Finance, etc.), Business Attorney, Accountant, Professor of Law, Dean LLM Taxation, and former Auditor for Fortune 500 companies (National Steel, Westside Federal Banks). James Wimberly - Board Vice-Chair Founding Partner - Sportstech International, Rancho Cucamonga, CA James attended University of California at San Diego, with an interest in journalism. James then further pursued his passion for boxing as a Welterweight Professional Boxer (1981-84) under the management of Rich Marrotta; sports radio personality, and training under Jerry Boyd; writer of the Academy Award winning movie Million Dollar Baby. After boxing James became the sports producer for KCAL Sport Channel 9 (1989-90) and in (1990-96) produced the Raiders Pre & Post Game Show with hosts Rich Marrotta and former All-Pro Quarterback, Jim Plunkett. In (1999-Present) James became the producer of the Neutral Corner Boxing Show hosted by Rich Marrotta. James is also a sports writer for the LA Sentinel Newspaper (2005-present). In March 2006, with years of success in sports relations and media, James was introduced as founding partner of 'SportsTech International' the new cutting-edge full-service sports management agency with a focus on athlete relations with a Personal Life Coach centered on emotional intelligence… Human Asset Management.™ Bryen Bentrott - Board Member Master Development Corporation, Newport Beach, CA Bryan Bentrott is responsible for financing and marketing Master Development projects. Before co-founding the company with Bruce McDonald, Mr. Bentrott was responsible for the marketing, leasing and property management of Golden West properties in the Inland Empire and San Diego County. Mr. Bentrott graduated from Stanford University in 1983. He is a licensed California Real Estate Broker and a Certified Property Manager ("CPM") as designed by the Institute. Gary Birch - Board Secretary Laguna Arts College, Laguna Beach, CA - Director - Technology Innovation/Dean of Visual Communications (Retired) Gary Birch is given credit for birthing the multimedia industry in southern California. Twenty years ago, he founded STATmedia limited, one of the first interactive digital media companies. STATmedia was responsible for the introduction of digital media to Motorola, NASA, Rockwell and Northrop. These companies were also introduced to the personal computer as an authoring tool for interactive digital media. More recent clients include Ford Motor Company and Toshiba. Often his works is published and he is asked to speak frequent, on his vision was used to launch innovative breakthroughs in the industry. He has been teaching at the College since 1989 and has been the vision and source for technological direction. As dean of visual communication, he is currently leading the charge for a “leave no one behind” wireless laptop campus. Recently he received the “Apple Distinguished Educator” award. His industry relationships are helping create powerful labs to compliment the campus-wide laptop adoption. Gary Birch was born and raised in the mountains of Colorado and educated at USC (University of Southern Colorado).
George Donovan - Board Treasurer President - Donovan Enterprises George is the President of Donovan Enterprises. He has helped to start-up and establish schools in the Atlanta area. William Smith - Board Member Supervisor of Education (Retired) - California Youth Authority - Department of Corrections After 38 years of dedicated service to the California Youth Authority, William retired from the position of Supervisor of Education. William holds a lifetime teaching credential.
